Services

The community we serve extends from Menlo Park to throughout the Kiwanis International world. We provide both volunteer and financial help. Project examples include:

Kiwanis Special Games
Established in 1979, the games are now supported by 13 area Kiwanis Clubs. They provide a day of excitement and success for hundreds of handicapped children of the San Mateo and Santa Clara and other Bay Area counties. We also support and participate in the Kiwanis Special Olympic Swim Meet event held annually at Menlo School for handicapped children of San Mateo County.

Youth Activities
Our club sponsors young people to a wide variety of summer camps. We support and sponsor youth programs, and provide college scholarships to graduating high school students. We fund a tutoring program designed to raise high school students reading skills to college acceptance.

Citizen Support
We support senior centers and provide health aids to the infirm. We also have projects that feed the poor and renovate their homes.

Community Organizations Supported
In 2014, we distributed $90,000 in support of projects which included scholarships for Menlo-Atherton High School graduates, St Anthony’s Dining Hall, Special Games for physically challenged youth, Key Club of Menlo-Atherton High School and the City of Menlo Park.

Donate To The Club
Your donations go to our general fund, which we use to further our mission, “Serving the children of the world”.
