John Martin Wins Kiwanis Hixon Award

During the last meeting of 2021, John Martin received the Kiwanis Children’s Fund Hixon Award. A national award, it recognized John for his outstanding service to and for our Menlo Park community.

John has led our Scholarship Committee for many years, working with Menlo-Atherton High School to determine scholarship awards for 8-12 students each year, totaling $50,000 to $80,000 annually. He has been a leading fund raiser and volunteer, particularly for work projects in the local community. John is also past President of the Menlo Park Kiwanis Club.
